PM E Drive Scheme (Revised FAME) 2024

The PM E Drive received approval from the Indian Union Cabinet on September 11, 2024. However, the Indian government allocated a total of INR 10900 crore to offer incentives for buying electric vehicles in India. Furthermore, a provision of INR 4391 crore has been authorized by state transport units and other public transport bodies to purchase 14028 electric buses which are going to be used in cities with populations greater than four million.
