On Tuesday Mamata Banerjee announced that the government of Bengal will release the budget for providing 11 lakh houses to the eligible applicants who could not avail the benefit under PMAY. However, the budget will be released by the first week of December. Furthermore, the surveys regarding the verification procedure will begin on October 21 to October 30. Moreover, out of 11 lakh houses, six lakhs will be given to poor women. The names of the applicants who will be selected under this scheme will be uploaded on the state’s government portal along with their verified Aadhar. Additionally, the financial aid will be given in three installments to selected candidates Rs 60000 in the first installment 40000 in the second and 20000 in the third.

Step 1: Applicants must go to the Bangla Awas Yojana’s official website to find out the first installment.
Step 2: The person applying must now log in to the portal by providing their username and password.
